Our Story
Sigma Bleu Xi was founded by Jasmine Ross, a visionary leader who recognized the need for a space where women could come together to support, uplift, and enjoy life in a luxurious yet meaningful way. Alongside La’Keriyah Turner, she established a sisterhood that goes beyond traditional organizations—one built on friendship, adventure, and success.
What started as an idea to bring like-minded women together has grown into a dynamic community that celebrates sisterhood in its purest form. Whether it’s through intimate gatherings, mentorship programs, or travel experiences, Sigma Bleu Xi is redefining what it means to belong.
Membership Requirements
Age & Alignment
Must be 21 years or older.
Must align with the values, mission, and vision of Sigma Bleu Xi.
Must uphold a standard of elegance, class, and respect in all interactions.
Financial Commitment
Must be able to meet financial obligations, including membership dues and event costs.
Should demonstrate financial responsibility by making payments on time.
Engagement & Participation
Must be willing to actively participate in meetings, events, and sisterhood activities.
Should demonstrate reliability and commitment by honoring RSVPs and attendance expectations.
Must be open to travel opportunities, both domestic and international.
Should have a positive and supportive attitude toward fellow members.
Professional & Personal Development
Should be open to mentorship, networking, and personal growth opportunities.
Entrepreneurial-minded individuals or career-focused women are encouraged to apply.
Membership Tiers
Prospective Member (PM)
Prospective members explore the sorority by attending events and connecting with current members.
They complete the application process, including paperwork and references, before gaining full membership.
Active Member
Active members are fully accepted into the sorority and actively participate in meetings, events, and social activities.
They pay monthly dues, cover travel fees, and are encouraged to engage in networking and professional opportunities.
Associate Member
Associate members take a temporary break while remaining connected to the sisterhood.
They are exempt from dues but may cover costs for special events or trips.
Honorary Member
Honorary membership is granted to those who have made significant contributions or demonstrated exceptional leadership.
Recognized as valued supporters and may attend select events without membership dues.
Alumni Member
Alumni members maintain a lifelong connection to the sisterhood and may attend select events by invitation.
They can continue to support and mentor current members as part of the extended network.
